For our first event we'll be discussing the concept of belonging and the importance of fostering safe spaces and building community. 

Does the fluidity of our mixed race identity come at a personal cost? Moving between worlds but never anchored in either?

Join us to seek answers in the company of our guest Elvira Vedelago, co-founder of Postscript, a cultural anthology which brings together perspectives of socially engaged and critical thinking women. We will find out what inspired the Italian-Nigerian editor to feature a round table discussion on mixed race identity in the latest issue of Postscript and how she has navigated her place in the world growing up across continents.

The event will be held on Tuesday 2nd July at Social in Peckham.

Doors will open at 6:45pm for 7pm start and last approximately two and a half hours.
