Existing In The Space Between

For our first online Curated Conversations event we will be looking at how far we’ve come when it comes to the mixed identity/experience.

Joining us for this discussion will be the inimitable feminist and political activist Esuantsiwa Jane Goldsmith - who will be discussing her recently published memoir 'The Space Between Black and White,' a riveting read on her experiences growing up as ‘an only’ raised by her white working class family in 1950s England to her journey to Ghana to find her father and the missing pieces of her self.

In honour of this being our first online Curated Conversations event included with your ticket you will receive a signed copy of 'The Space Between Black and White' by the author so you can delve into the book ahead of the event. And as we will be looking at the mixed experience over the decades we highly encourage intergenerational conversations, so invite along any relatives or friends who are mixed, especially of the older generation who may resonate with Esua’s story.

This 2hr event will be held online via Zoom on Sunday 18th October at 3pm.
